- Host: A registered user who lists a property for rent.
- Guest: A registered user who books a property through the platform.
- Booking: A reservation made through Revisit.
- Platform: The Revisit website, mobile application, and related services.
- Content: Any text, images, videos, reviews, or other materials uploaded or shared on the platform.
- Service Fee: The fee charged by Revisit for facilitating bookings and providing platform services.
- Cancellation Policy: The rules set by the host regarding refunds and cancellations for bookings.
- Security Deposit: A refundable amount held to cover potential damages or violations of house rules.
- Third-Party Services: External services integrated with Revisit, such as payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using Revisit, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements.
- Agree to abide by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- Will provide accurate and up-to-date information.
3. PLATFORM USAGE
3.1 Account Registration
To use Revisit, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized account use.
3.2 Property Listings
Hosts must ensure that property listings:
- Are accurate, complete, and comply with local laws.
- Include clear pricing, availability, and house rules.
- Do not contain misleading information.
- Listings must not be duplicated or reposted. Duplicate listings are not allowed.
3.3 Booking Process
- Guests can book available properties through our platform.
- A booking is confirmed once the host accepts the request. Payment is arranged personally between the guest and the host, outside of the platform.
- All bookings are subject to the cancellation policy set by the host.
4. PAYMENTS AND FEES
4.1 Pricing and Charges
- Hosts set their own pricing for accommodations.
- Guests are responsible for paying the listed price plus any applicable taxes.
- Revisit does not charge guests additional booking fees.
4.2 Payment Processing
- Revisit uses trusted third-party payment providers like Stripe and PayPal.
- Payment details are handled directly by these providers; Revisit does not store or access this data.
4.3 Security Deposits
- Hosts may require a security deposit, which will be refunded after checkout, provided there are no damages.
5. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
- Cancellation policies vary per host and are displayed on the listing.
- Guests must review and agree to the cancellation terms before booking.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed through the original payment method.
6. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
6.1 Guest Responsibilities
- Respect the property and adhere to house rules.
- Report any damages immediately to the host.
- Leave the accommodation in a reasonable condition.
6.2 Host Responsibilities
- Maintain the property in a clean and habitable condition.
- Honor confirmed bookings and cancellation policies.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the property.
7. REVISIT’S ROLE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- Revisit acts as a facilitator and is not a party to rental agreements.
- We do not own or manage properties.
- We are not responsible for:
- The accuracy of listings.
- The actions of users.
- Any disputes between hosts and guests.
- We disclaim liability for any damages, including but not limited to lost bookings, service interruptions, or property damages.
8. CONTENT USAGE RIGHTS AND PERMISSIONS
8.1 Content Ownership and Usage Rights
- By uploading content, owners grant Revisit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, distribute, and promote their content for marketing and promotional purposes.
8.2 Consent and Permission
- Property owners must ensure they have the right to use and share the content uploaded to the platform.
- Content should not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
8.3 Content Removal and Modification
- Property owners can request the removal of their content at any time.
- Revisit reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate.
8.4 Third-Party Content Usage
- If a property owner uses third-party content, they must ensure they have the necessary licenses or permissions.
8.5 Content Promotion and Advertising
- By using Revisit, property owners agree that their content may be promoted via the platform’s channels, including social media, email campaigns, or advertisements.
9. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Users agree not to:
- Post false or misleading information.
- Use the platform for illegal activities.
- Disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system.
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, or harassment.
Violations may result in account suspension or legal action.
10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
10.1 Between Users
- Users should first attempt to resolve disputes directly.
- If unresolved, Revisit may offer mediation but does not guarantee resolution.
11. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION & LISTING ADJUSTMENTS
11.1 Subscription Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- If you cancel, your current subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period but will not renew.
- No refunds are issued for unused time after cancellation.
- For yearly subscription plans:
- Yearly plans are offered at a discounted rate and are non-refundable once purchased.
- If you cancel a yearly subscription before the end of the billing period, you will retain access to the platform until the end of the subscription term, but no refunds will be provided for the unused portion of the subscription.
11.2 Listing Adjustments
- Revisit reserves the right to review and modify listings if:
- The content violates platform policies.
- Updates are necessary to improve the user experience.
12. TERMINATION AND ACCOUNT SUSPENSION
Revisit reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms.
- Remove misleading or inappropriate listings.
- Deny access to users engaging in prohibited activities.
13. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of Revisit after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. LEGAL DISPUTES
The website owner shall not be held liable under any circumstances for any consequences arising from force majeure events, which are beyond their control and could not have been influenced or foreseen.
